South Sudan’s ministerial committee on economic reforms met SSRA and Crawford-Capital Pay to review the government’s cash-payments policy, SSBC reported on 17 September.

The committee was chaired by Pieng Deng Kuol. Rapporteur James Mawich Makuach said the presentation had addressed the committee’s concerns. According to SSBC, the committee acknowledged improvements in revenue collection and called for that progress to continue.

The meeting forms part of the public record on payment arrangements and revenue administration. The original SSBC report is linked below.

Following the service process

For a government payment, start with the current instruction from the responsible institution. Keep the invoice and receipt together so the transaction can be followed from the payment channel to the service concerned.
